I am wondering if City Driving Home Edition is planning on supporting Windows 10? Anyone knows? Thanks!

Glad I could help. It runs a bit better on Windows 10 than on Windows 7. That is what I saw anyway.

The game is only compatible with DX11 and DX9.

The upcoming update is needed then.
Ps can you have 2 versions of DX installed at the same time?

Don't see DX as regular software (like; I'm currently on version 5. But there is now also the version 6. Let's update!)

DX contains a bundle of apis. Without it, you can't run software that requires those apis. So, for instant, this game runs on DX9 and DX11. This means that if you want to play it on DX9, you need the DX9 apis. Same rule for the DX11. However, you can (and most likely) have both DX apis installed. It isn't an update like City Car Driving gets, its a bundle of apis that is needed for software that made use of those apis.

Short explanation (copy pasted from the web):

A set of APIs developed by Microsoft that enables programmers to write programs that access hardware features of a computer without knowing exactly what hardware will be installed on the machine where the program eventually runs. DirectX achieves this by creating an intermediate layer that translates generic hardware commands into specific commands for particular pieces of hardware. In particular, DirectX lets multimedia applications take advantage of hardware acceleration features supported by graphics accelerators.

So the answer to your question: yes.

I have upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 recently. And all I've done - updated my video card drivers. The game works quite fine.
