I'm sure this has been suggested, but after playing ATS for a while and then going back to City Car Driving, the transition between not having constant force feedback is hard. Would make the game 10x better if I constantly felt every bump on the road, and the steering wheel vibrated consistently as opposed to what it does now. I don't know if this is a easy thing to add, but it'd certainly be great!

In some cars, the dashboard indicators are barely visible. Would it be possible to implement a zoom for the dashboard? In this way, the elements would look perfect. So it would also be possible to create a small on-board computer.

Mod requests 06 Sep 2019 16:11 #112955

Hello everybody,
I would like to suggest several modifications that make the gameplay of City Car Driving even more realistic.

1. Drive mode:

Actually, there are different driving modes in almost every car these days. I would like to suggest that the standard in accordance with the modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport +) brings in the game. There should be an API for mod developers to decide for themselves what modes their vehicle should have, what names the mods have and what they can do, e.g. comfort, switching speeds are lower, gas intake is worse, e.g. Sport, gears slightly higher and the gas intake better, e.g. Sport +, gears very high and the gas directly. Of course, for hybrid vehicles the Eco mode.

2. More realistic NPC's

My profile is based on German driving rules. Now it is true that on the highway is not a legal driving requirement (at least no one is off) and always the left lane for speeding npc's are occupied, which drive only 65km / h. Something would be almost life-threatening in Germany xD It is shit that if you want to go through with 300 km / h then on the left track (You may only overtake links) is always a NPC, which slows down to 60kmh or the track totally busy.

I do not have any more to deal with, because the mod sound bug is already fixed :D I hope that the points that I have mentioned will also be introduced into the game, which would be awesome :P

Kind regards

Support for metallic paints will be nice and native support for reverse camera without deleting a center mirror.

A few things piss me off.

Im in the UK cars are set up for left side drive in the uk we drive in the right side of our car.

I have a G920 with the driving force shifter, when I stear I have to turn 20 - 40% more than what the wheel turns in game no matter how much i change sencitivity and finally the trottle seams to be so sencitive if a feather lands on it im at 30% throttle.

I sugest intergrating a calibration tool.

Untill these changes are made I will be doing a steam refund as the sim isnt playable for me.

1) Not every car is setup for right-hand drive - only the ute and the Holden sedan are.
2) The wheel will always be slightly off - the game, like a real car, has a steering wheel that turns 1080 degrees, where the Logitech wheels only turn 900.
3) You can change pedal sensitivity settings using the calibration tools in the advanced controls menu.
