Here's a list of suggestions that I think could heavily improve the game.

1. Left hand drive Holden Commodore / Ford Falcon. These are the 2 right hand cars added in 1.3, and I think left handed variants would be nice. I don't know about the Ford Falcon as it wasn't in America, but here in the States we had the Commodore as the Pontiac G8.

2. Realistic startup sounds. The little imitation sound on top of the actual cars startup sound is just too unrealistic. Either remove the initiation sound or replace it with a more modern one (such as the GM 3.6 starter sound for example.)

3. Live weather and time cycles. Obviously this could be toggled, but something like what Euro Truck Simulator 2 and other games have, a live time cycle and weather cycle would be a nice addition.

4. Parking sensors on newer vehicles. I know for a fact newer vehicles such as the Toyota Corolla, Holden Commodore, Ford Falcon, etc can have some kind of sensors on them whether its blind spot or back up sensors.

It would be good if we can have MPH setting in the game menu for any traffic rules and for both left hand and right hand traffic if I get told this isn't possible I seriously don't see the point in having this topic or suggesting improvements I will be disappointed if this isn't possible as well if that is case I'm going to stop suggesting improvements and I will only think the game will never improve ever, But it will be ridiculous if this isn't possible I can't see how this should be have problem or not be possible or hard.

What is the progress on the new city? I've been waiting for about two years to have it expanded & I'd love to see what it would look like fully completed.

I have been following the game for about 6 years,

1. The biggest shortcoming is that mod makers are not supported enough,
mod is the most important element that keeps a game up to date.

2. Modders should be able to make map mod, not just car mod.

3. Game makers must provide all the necessary materials for mod making,
No one except FullOyunMod and TJ posted a mod tutorial.(Even if it's not a complete tutorial)
Game makers need to publish a complete mod tutorial.

4. Engine sounds cannot be adjusted exactly as before. (game version 1.3.3)
(Video or pdf document made by game makers is needed for sound mods)

5. To support mod makers, the best mod should be selected and rewarded once a month.
(only mods posted in the forum)

Unfortunately, it's not ready yet. We're upgrading our internal development tools now, therefore cannot build new locations yet.

i'm in the steam group,
I am saying that there is not enough document to make mods from start to finish.
it is very confusing for beginners. I just said my idea.

I wanted you guys to add when the vehicle your in goes into the left lane or the fast lane and starts to get close the other driver(Pushing) can you guys enable that so it is like real driving and when you put aggressive mode I want it so the other cars try to keep up with me.

Here I'd like to report some feedbacks and suggestions.
Note that I'm usually playing in Australian rule with 70% of car & pedestrian density.

feedbacks:
1. Crossing at Brisbone-Monash street is always heavily jammed. I waited for 5 cycles of the traffic light and and no one moved. So I had to slip past between the other cars. It looks like the AI cars tend to enter the crossing unless there are no place for them to fit.

2. "Dangerous change of lane" happens too much (at least for me). Even when I set the slider to minimum non-zero value, it happens 3 to 4 times in 30 minutes of play. It would be nice if the probability of the emergency events at the minimum slider value are lowered (1 to 2 times in 1 hour or something like that ?)

suggestions:
1. It would be nice if pedestrians by "Crossing pedestrian at wrong place" comes from both side of the road, so that you have to keep wide view.

2. Could you make the "Dangerous change of lane" more natural ? Currently it works like:
i) An AI car approaches player and controls its speed so that it runs with the player side by side
ii)The AI increase its speed slightly and then slams steering in front of the player
iii-1) If the player hit the AI, it stops there and turns on hazard
iii-2) If the player stopped but didn't hit the AI, it stops there and wait until the player hits it or passes by
iii-3) If the player didn't stopped nor didn't hit the AI, it goes back to usual AI.

Because of i) and iii-2), the AI's movement feels for me as if it is conducting PIT maneuver on you.
At least iii-2) is annoying to me because the AI's actual purpose is to change the lane, not hitting you.
Consider the dangerous change of lane in real life happens when the car next to you moves as if you are not there, i) can be discarded and then AI should passes you by irrespective to the player's movement in the condition of iii-2).


Anyway, the "emergency situation" is a really unique feature that other sims don't have, and I'm enjoying CCD for that ! Thanks !

1. Why just not lower the traffic density?
2. Sudden dangerous situations can be adjusted in the options before the driving.

Current realisation of the dangerous lane change was implemented after many tests. The method you suggested didn't work with the current traffic AI. It was just too easy to avoid.
