my config :

intel core i7 2,8 ghz

logitech g29 and clutch

Did you change any of simulator files or install any mod?

What profile do you use?

Do you have any antivirus software installed?
Did you try to disable your antivirus, delete (whith deactivation) simulator and install it again?

no mod, no change of any simulator files
i use the default profile.
the only antivirus is the microsoft one.

the only thing i did to try to solve this bug, was creating a new config folder from scratch by renaming the old one. it was a suggestion of a forum's member

after that, i had to choose a new profile in the initial menu, the default one was already there, so I choose the default profile, starter.exe failed when i used the oculus mask, i had to choose directX9 and then directX11 to allow me to select "screen and mask" in the preferences to have starter.exe functionning

so i can use my oculus mask but the cars are still on their side.

Try to reinstall and run simulator with disabled antivirus. Do you still have this problem?

And what language do you use? Did you try to change any language file?

I have reinstalled the simulator from the very beginning, a put the access number and so forth with disabled microsoft antivirus but it's the same thing : the cars are on their side.

i use french language

We've fixed this problem. Try to redownload distributive from official cite.

Ever since I have been playing 1.5.6 steam version for the past couple days, I can't play because it just blacks out and closes the game with no error message after attempting to start driving. Should I re-install?
6 years on the forum, not very active, but I am still glad to help.

With the new update, VR is a terrible experience. The game is very laggy and it takes away from the realism. Please sort this out ASAP, I can hardly play the game.
I am very disappointed with the new 'update'.
