Oculus Rift Runtime 0.6.0.0 works nearly perfect for me. I disabled "multithread rendering" in graphics settings (using drivers Nvidia 350.12 / Windows 7, 64bit). There are some Runtime switchers between 0.6 and 0.7/0.8 ..you can google it (however I didnt manage to make them work.. but maybe you will)
Anyway I had a glimpse of what City Car Driving is in VR and now Ill be waiting for the 1.0 runtime to be released/game updated

GTX 970
Intel i5-750 @ 3.6 GHz
8 GB Ram
slow hdd 7200rpm SataII
framerates around 40-50 but no stutter at all, its perfect, with no headache, old city works better than new city map.. but maybe its my system which is pretty old

I believe it could be perfect, but my CPU is 8 years old now, thats why.. for me, performance is hardware related... i cant really complain for the performance I get. I love the game and its crazy how well they optimized it. I remember when Assetto Corsa was out on Oculus Rift it gave me head aches, my eyes hurt/ even though without the DK2 + all maxed out I was around 90fps. Now when I play City Car Driving,I never bother for the same issues, the game is smooth, I just enjoy the ride... look around, take in the nice winter atmosphere. Winter, snow and falling snowflakes are crazy immersive experience. Since my PC is old the new city map gives me a lower fps.. and its harder playable, but certainly with a newer PC it should be good. I only have words of gratitude for the developers because they did a great job implementing VR, especially when you see how big budget games fail repeatedly before they get it right. Cheerz
