TOPIC: force feedback logitech g290

force feedback logitech g290 01 Dec 2015 18:18 #55918

Hi

I have a logitech g290 steering wheel. Everytime I start city car driving it loaded normally. After I choose free drive and press start, starter.exe will stop working at soon as I heard the engine sound. Therefore I go to the setting and find out that if I disable force feedback, everything works fine and great! However, without the force feedback, the wheel is very very heavy and hard to turn.

I tried to update the driver for my wheel but without succeeded.

Anyone can help? Thanks

Hello,

Please email our technical support team to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and in your email please send us the following information:

1. Your order ID or serial number to identify you as our customer.

2. Detailed problem description and steps after performing of which the problem occurs.

3. The problem occurs only in free driving mode or in career mode too?

4. Have you installed any mods?

5. Attach a screenshot of the error (if there's one).

6. Send us your settings files. To send us these files, you should compress the whole folder with game settings ("My Documents\Forward Development" folder.) in archive file and send us.

7. Attach a DirectX diagnostic file from your PC, where the problem occurs. To create this file, please, follow these steps:

● From your Windows click the "Start" button and use the search box field.
● Type DXDIAG in the field and hit Enter.
● DXDIAG will start, and may display a prompt that begins "Do you want to allow DxDiag to check if your drivers are digitally signed..." Answer "Yes" to this query if it appears.
● A window entitled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" appears, and in the lower left corner, a progress meter begins to advance towards the right as DXDIAG collects information relating to the system's hardware and Windows component configuration.
● When the progress indicator disappears, hit the "Save All Information" button. Then save this file as DXDIAG.TXT where it can be easily located. By default DXDIAG will place this file on your Desktop. Then send this file to us.

We will research all this information and then will advise you next steps.

Note: If you do not see a button that allows you to save the information, you will need to log on to Windows as the Administrator.
