TOPIC: the intensity of the gas and brake

the intensity of the gas and brake 02 Jan 2013 19:59 #6175

hello i have logitech driving force pro rev.b
how to set the gas pedal and the brake pressure showed the full value?
the idea is that: I press the gas pedal on the third and ccd is 100% of the gas ... same with the gas pedal .. wants to be the least responsive to the beginning of the pedal is pressed
some advice please

Firstly, you can set dead-zones if you feel it starts too soon. Secondly, and what seems to be what you're looking for, you can alter the "acceleration linearity" and "brake linearity". I'm guessing the slider further to the left will make it more sensitive in the beginning and less in the end, and the other way around all the way to the right. It can be the opposite, too - I don't really remember.

Also, are you sure that your wheel isn't reporting the gas to be 100% when it's one third in? It might be part of the problem.

The 'dead zone' option worked when you just want to rest your feet on the pedals. The 'linearity' options didn't do anything for the amount the pedals had to be pushed for me.
