So putting the volume down on sound so that you cant hear it won't work?

When you do that, you can't hear the indicators or horn, which takes away from the simulator feel. Electric cars as Biz said, do have a faint electric motor whine. It's not realistic to just simply turn the volume down and then not be able to hear anything else.

I meant putting the volume sound down on the WAV files.

Still, not as realistic as it could be with the sound. It's a definite possibility if the WAV files don't want to cooperate.

The WAV files for the indicators and horn are separate so when you turn the volume down on the sound the indicators and horn sound the volume on that can be turned higher unless your talking about it the indicators and horn sound at the maximum then its not possible however you can make the indicator and horn WAV files volume louder by using an online converter on the internet but you have to convert them to MP3 first with software and once the MP3 files are louder you can then convert them back to WAV again so it is possible to have the indicators and higher volume when the engine sounds itself are lower volume i did this before with TJ's private Audi A6 Allroad mod and it worked.
