TOPIC: How are Windows modelled?

How are Windows modelled? 19 Jul 2018 20:07 #109322

So I'm modelling a 'rare' car from scratch (partly due to me rather creating it then paying for ready made models to modify and the extra flexibility this entails), and I'm wondering if I need to have polygons for both the inside and the outside of the windows (as a 3D object) or if it can be a 2D plane of sorts that only needs to be facing the exterior for the rain to work?

Thanks in advance for the information on how the windows are normally modelled on the vehicles you create or port to CCD! ;)
I love the look of classic and concept cars! So captivating!

Hi,

It only needs to be modelled for one side, the exterior.
