How to edit mod to allow passenger transportation? 19 Aug 2019 16:59 #112899

I have a few mods which I really like but the game does not allow me to use the Ruber app for passenger transportation, it says "You cannot carry passengers in this car, please use another car".

How can I fix this for old mods? Is there a way to edit the mod file and enable passenger transportation?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Open carproperty.ini, located in data/gamedata/cars/(carname)

Add this line anywhere:
[Passangers]
seat_1 = (Shift =0.407; -0.385; 0.715, AngleX=3.0, AngleZ=0.0, SeatType = "MuchSpace")
seat_2 = (Shift = -0.407; -0.385; 0.715, AngleX=3.0, AngleZ=0.0, SeatType = "MuchSpace")

Change the co-ordinates to fit the passenger into the seats. This can be done using 3DS Max, otherwise you'll just need to change them and check each adjustment in the game.
