Help 14 Sep 2020 09:15 #114790

Hello there. I recently bought ccd from steam. I have downloaded a few mods but after trying to load the mod in free play the game freezes and a few second later it says that Starter Application has stopped working. Please is there any way to fix this. Thank you

Hello,

Does this issue occur with all mods or just a select few? Does it occur with standard cars as well?
Does your computer use integrated graphics or is it a laptop?
Have you tried deleting the Forward Development folder from Documents?

Hello. My computer does not use integrated graphics. It uses a 6th gen core i7. I usually play the game at low settings. It does not occur with standard car. A few specific mod work such as the Alphard by TJ but other things do not work. I tried to delete the forward development from the documents folder.

If your computer is using your i7 for graphics, that means that you do use integrated graphics. If you are using a separate graphics card that means you don't use integrated graphics. A quick way to check this is to open up task manager (CTRL ALT Delete), then click on more details. Next click on performance. Finally, click on GPU. There you will see what your computer uses for graphics. If it says anything with Intel then it uses integrated, but if it says Nvidia or AMD and you're on a desktop, then you are most likely using a separate graphics card. If you have 2 tabs that say GPU then you might need to set CCD to use the graphics card and not the integrated graphics. I have added some screenshots to guide you through the steps to check your computer's graphics. One more quick thing, make sure you are using a desktop because most of the time laptops use integrated graphics even if it says Nvidia or AMD. I hope this helps!
