Hi
Whenever I drive a modded car, the sound is bugging. Sometimes you can't even hear a car sound. Are there vanilla car sound files that I can put in the folder of the mods so it doesn't bug?
It would be unusual if this is occuring on every modded car. However, Workshop mods will be missing their sound if the author used a filename which isn't specific to the car, which is common when mods are reuploaded by people who are not the original author.
Normally, if the mod is made for an older version of the game, the custom sound will no longer work. It will reset to the vaz 2110 sound. You can open CarProperty.ini in data/gamedata/cars/yourcarfolder and then edit
SoundBankName = "yourcarfolder"
and change it to
SoundBankName = "oyota" for the sound from the basic toyota corolla.
A full list of sounds can be found in the export/audio folder
Is there a pack of custom sounds that you can send to me? I want to change custom sounds of mods made by either pre-1.5.8 mods or FullOyunMod (Turkish modder) or f##king Russian modders like Heisenberg or Denis154rus. (don't mention my username anywhere)
The vanilla CCD sound list seen below is too limited. The pattern is:
Sound file name (vehicle(s) it belongs to).
The files are below:
744P1 (I don't know it)
amaz (KAMAZ truck)
azel (GAZelle van)
az_2110 (VAZ 2110/Lada 110 (Car01) and VAZ 2106? (Car24) and Lada Priora? (Car53)
BaseCar (Also VAZ 2110, and a fallback sound, and also used in AI cars except Corolla and Holden)
iaz (LIAZ truck)
oldenommodoreSv6 (Holden Commodore (Car68) and Dodge Charger (Car136) and Ford Taurus? (Car203)
ordalconRX6 (Ford Falcon (Car67)
oyota (Toyota Corolla, Peugeot 206cc and Fiat 500 (Car28, Car39 and Car55)
Tranzit (Ford Transit (Car160/Car201)
