Hello everyone!

I'm new here,i bought the game a few hrs ago and i've seen so many amazing vids with car mods. I've read alot about how to do it and after trying the whole thing that ppl are explaining in their tutorials i still didnt manage to get anything changed. Any tips,any help?

Note: i did copy the rar extracted files and i did paste the txt in the player cars section.

1 download car
2 extract files
3 copy files data and axport to C/program files/ccd and click "save to all"
4 copy text file "player_cars.txt" or "Код.txt" to file-> player_cars.xml you can find this file ->
C:\Program Files\City Car Driving\data\config
5. Open simulator (start)
6 lets start simulator and good fun:)

Thx for the tip but still isn't working. When i try to save the file in the players_cars.xml i get a warning saying " This file contains characters in Unicode format which will be lost if you save this file as an ANSI encoded text file. To keep the Unicode information, click cancel below and then select one of the Unicode options from the encoding drop down list." I guess its cause its written in russian. Any tips how to do it? And besides could u give me an example of the text that needs to be written in the player_cars.xml file? Besides i'm using 1.2.4. version of the game,hope that doesn't make a difference. You need to change the coding from ANSI to UTF-8 then it will save

I've tried it out and still nothing. Only thing i can come up with is that i'm playing 1.2.4 version and the cars may be for older versions. Does that mean i can't use any old cars,and if so would someone be kind enough to make a step by step fully detailed description on how to do it and give some cars tried out on the 1.2.4 version so i'm sure its gonna work. Also 1 more thing i don't understand. After deleting everything written in the player_cars document and put my "own" cars in it,in the game nothing new appears but all the old cars remain.... -.-'

The mods you have, did they work with 1.2.3?? If they did pretty much all of them should still work. I download most of my mods from the russian site (i don't understand a word but i'm trying my way forward) and almost all of them are for the russian version 2.2.8/1.2.3 and they work fine for me in 1.2.4

I never tried 1.2.3. I bought the game recently and got 1.2.4 version right away,as asked above though, can anyone make a step by step tutorial,i tried all the thing that ppl were saying in the other threads and even watched some vids,did all what i read and saw and still nothing ingame. I'm prolly making some mistake but i don't see where. Even watched carefully when typing in the players_cars file so the chosen cars are between </cars> and </car>. Besides that file wasn't even xml but i changed it to be. I really don't know what to do and i would really appritiate any help cause i want some mods really really bad. For example Audi r8. Can some1 type how it should look in the players cars file and how to save it correctly. so far what i got as list looks like this:
