It's my birthday soon (see if you can guess the date!) and I have nothing I want. I currently use keyboard control, and I want to get a wheel after seeing vids on youtube.

I have a Logitech driving force EX I used for PS2, but it is not compatible with windows 8 so I can't use it.

I want to get a new wheel. I want a wheel for CCD, ETS2 and some other things, but I need some help.

The Logitech G27 looks awesome. But it is £269 (He-he, 69:P ). Can someone give me information on other wheels and if they are any good. In an ideal world I want something that is good and cheap, maybe around £100, but I just take it as price as no problem, I might be able to afford something expensive, I don't know yet.

Oh, and if it works for 360, it's an added bonus.

UPDATE:
The fanatec CSR is cheaper and works for Xbox, but is it any good? Iv'e read reviews for the G27 and it sounds awesome. Is the fanatec of a similar quality?
What about the driving force GT? It is almost half the price, but is just not worth it?

Found out that my old wheel won't work on windows 8, so I have removed the part about it.

I have a G27, however if you don't want to spend £269 on a wheel, try looking into the Logitech Driving Force GT, as this has 900 degrees of roation, just lacks the clutch and gearbox. And I believe that Fanatec whhels such as the Fanatec GT3 RS are similar to the G27 but can also connect to xbox for games like Forza:)

Yes, simulationdude you can get a Fanatec wheel but they are just as pricey as a G27. Follow this link and with this Fanatec wheel you can play it with PS3, Xbox 360, and as well as the PC. Here is the link ---> http://us.fanatec.com/RacingWheels?product_id=181. I would also, if you want this wheel try to go on eBay and you could score one for maybe $220-$230. You can either get the G27 or the Fanatec Porsche 911 GT2 wheel they are both excellent wheels and will work just as good with CCD. Personally I like the G27 because, if you get a Porsche wheel you might not be driving a Porsche in the game, but again it's up to you. If you like the Fanatec better go for it! Just save your B-day money and other funding options, like Christmas and buy a quality wheel it's a very good investment. You won't regret it... ;)
Have A Nice Day :);)
