Good, because if I ever go on a road-trip in the USA, then people won't get confused because I flash my hazards after a lane change XD
Anyway. Back to the topic. I have a few screen shots for you guys XD

This is my 900th post :) also its not that common. It's only used when in heavy traffic jams and from what i see of what you call 'heavy traffic jam' in the UK can't compare to the US. If you put your hazards on when changing lanes people with probably think its road rage

Cause that's polite  It's very common around here in the UK :) I subconsciously do it all the time on CCD XD

Really? I live in the UK and I have never, ever seen or heard of that at all. A quick raise of your hand is used as a thank-you where I live.

if CCD was multiplayer here is where you would find me:
Favorite location: Modern District (area)
Time: Day
Traffic: 40-70%
Pedestrians: 30% (10% during the night and evening)
Agressions: half bar
If it was multiplayer you would find me at the mountainous area testing my new 4WD or at the Motorway testing my new sports car or at the Modern District just cruising in a Hyundai  .

In the Philippines a form of saying thank you when facing the guy who let you pass is flashing your headlights, but some people do not say thank you at all. I find that rude  .

In the US flashing your headlights is like a silent horn. it means 'GET OUT OF THE WAY'

Come over to the M4, happens all the time XD Same here in the UK, flashing headlights when facing someone is saying "thank you" if they give way to you, but if you're following behind someone who won't move over and let you overtake, then it's just telling the person in front that they're an idiot, and would they get out of the way very quickly, now, please, thank you muchly XD

Flashing your lights is also illegal. It shines into people eyes and is a distraction. There are only specific places where you can flash your lights / use your high bean

I define heavy traffic jam as "When the cars are completely crammed up, and barely moving. However, in the village where I live, rush hour is when you're held up by a car between 4:00PM and 6:00PM XD
