I saw a Ford Expedition fall off an overpass. It was on the news the day after, and it was mentioned that the driver was drunk.
Whoa, that would've scared me. Are there alot of drunkies where you live? In America our drunkies like to walk at 2 AM in the morning all through my neighborhood and wake me up. When there not drunk, there still in our neighborhood acting crazy, screaming and being annoyingly loud.
Not many people drive drunk here. And there aren't many drunkies, except of course, in the bars, which are far from my house  .

I have a few switch blades in my truck. Perfectly legal. Under 4inches each.

erm...Why? If you get hijacked, you run to the trunk and get out four tiny knives? Or is like, decoration or something? The only knives I would ever own are for cutting food.

But really who doesn't carry a knife with them? I always have a switchblade in my pocket and a few weapons in my car. I always thought it was a necessity. Maybe it's because New York is the land of attacks. Let's say that Land Rover/motorcycle event was to occur to me. I'd slit a few wrists trying to defend myself.

I've lived in two cities (London and Paris) and I've never heard of anyone keeping weapons in their car. Plus having a knife like that wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference if you were in the same situation as that Range Rover. You still would have ended up in hospital.

On that topic why did he not just call the police instead of running them over and trying to get away? He was never going to get away from that many bikes.

Ohh he did call the police after running them over. And he could easily have gotten away. It's a Range Rover. It'd be an amazing video. No disrespect to motorcycle riders but i hate biker gangs.

Hypothetical situation: You were in the range rover, how would you survive.
-Run over the people
-Veer people off the cliff and into the wall
-When at the stop light, reverse
-Stabby stabby with my pocket knives.

And the guy's wife called the police like 3 times and the police didn't do anything! I'm glad that guy got paralyzed. And they say he was trying the help the biker who got bumped by the SUV. He was part of the group that does stuff like that everywhere. You can't tell me that he's innocent.

Most of them were riding 1000cc sportbikes and above, he would have never got away. Not on country roads (Most of the bikes top out at 180mph depending on how they are geared) and certainly not in the city.

The worst thing he could have done was run them over. What did he expect them to do after that? Just let him go?

Getting the pocket knife out would just make the whole situation more volatile. You may stab one or two but I can guarantee that they would have killed or beat the living shit out of you because of it.

I do agree that they shouldn't have acted they way they did but in my opinion there is no excuse for running someone over like he did in the video.
