As we probably all know, we're in a major depression! Whether we or our parents are paying for this, we still need to save up. I'm pretty sure we don't want to waste our money. Where I live, an adequate lunch costs about $10 each.
~Cheap and easily made meals is all i want.
My solution to this is:
-Cereal + milk -> $6-9 for 5meals. (depending on the type of milk)
-Cup noodles -> $.5
-Eggs -> $.75
-Spam -> $1
-Baking packaged cookies/ice cream bars. (VERY UNHEALTHY)

~What do you do for cheap meals?

For a lunch, I just go to Tesco (a supermarket) and get a "Meal deal"-a sandwich/ pasta salad/ wrap etc, a drink, and a chocolate bar or pack of crisps, all of you choosing, for £3.

When making food a pack of ham or something could be £1-£2 or even more, but of course you can make loads of sandwichs with that pack of ham. Same with bread and everything else.

It also depends on what brand you get, you could get a loaf of bread for £0.50 or £1.50-depends on if you want to pay extra or can afford to pay extra for a higher quality.

Also looking for things that have been reduced, or any deals, will save you money. Most things that are nearing their best before date are cut in price.

God, are you talking about school lunch? Where i live school lunch is 1.75 and breakfast is .85 cents and then you can get reduced lunch where lunch is .85 and breakfast is .45 and then you can get free lunch and breakfast entirely.

I go to Jollibee (a rival of McDonald's in the Philippines) and buy 1pc. chicken with rice, which would cost around ₱68. In US Dollars that's around $1.57.

Well, for lunch i usually go to the concession stand at my school and get a soft drink and skittles. Then i'd go to mcdonalds and get a chicken nugget mighty kids meal, which will get almost full until dinner.
So together i am spending:
3.75
2.00
----
5.75 on after-school lunch/snack.
