Hi all,
Last month, when I made my return to the forum, you may remember me mentioning that my mom sold her 2011 Tucson and was looking to get a Toyota as a replacement.

One month later, the decision was made, and the papers were signed. She got herself a new Toyota :) .

Toyota Fortuner 2016

It's a nice car. It's somewhat cheap as well. $30,000 (approx.) for a MPV (I think that's what it's classified as) that has a good amount of standard equipment that looks good. Toyota in the Philippines gets some nice cars. For example: Their Corolla looks way better than it does in the US/Canada. The Yaris is way better as well. But... they have this thing which is... to say the least, a huge ass eye sore:

Computer Specs (One Final Update - Wednesday, June 8th, 2022):
16" MacBook Pro
[Processor] M1 Pro
[RAM] 32GB 6400MHz LPDDR5
[Storage] 1TB PCIE Gen. 4 NVMe
[Graphics] 16-core integrated GPU

To the good times.

Peace.

I agree. It classifies as an SUV actually. It's meant to be the 7-seater SUV version of the Hilux in the Asian regions.

I'm not quite fond of the new Alphard as well. I think the old one looks better.

The old one looks waaaaay better than the new one. The new one seems to be trying so hard to be a Lexus with that huge ugly grill :silly:

In Austria, a normal women's car is a Polo VW, in the USA, it's a Fortuner. What the heck?? My mum has the Octavia now, and that is large for women in Europe, in the USA is small

That's not only sexist, but not true at all.

I don't know how much more sexist you could be right now. My mother has driven things from a Box Van to a Dodge Neon. Gender really doesn't play a role as into what people drive.
