Depends on the Car.

In a van I would love to have a Automatic (VW Transporter T6 TDI 220pk + stage 4 tuning makes it +/- 300 pk then automatic)

but in a Opel/Vauxhall Corsa I would love to have a Manuel because its fun to drive and boring with a automatic.

Automatic on some cars (like more luxury cars or SUVs). Manual on older cars they are funnier and you can do a burnout :)

But I live in the city, so traffic is quite terrible, and driving a manual in stop and go traffic just hurts the knee, and so I would prefer a DCT in traffic - it's the closest I can get to a manual.However, when the roads are empty, I find the manual most fun and most practical.

Whats is DCT?

A DCT is a dual-clutch transmission. Basically, there are 2 clutches, and when lets say you're in 4th, the next gear is already prepared in the 2nd clutch which thus makes it super quick and efficient.
