I know this is really out of the blue, but I found out that my cat had been... hit by a car... what can I do to remember him? It's terrible, three days from today and a year on from Flight 9268? Why does this month have to be so terrible?

Exact thing happened to me in July . It's always awful for something like that to happen. I would suggest looking for a new cat as soon as possible, we got one about 2 weeks later and it really helped us forget about the trauma, while still being able to remember him.

I feel sorry for you that's sad. Get a new cat, as biz already said it will help you to feel better. Our cat died also like that long time ago. The cat we have now is 8 years old already and he'll turn 9 in April. We keep our cat indoors and walk him like a dog once a day(usually). I suggest you to do same thing when there are lots of cars, it is the safest way.
