This isn't the best forum for this kind of problems, but maybe someone can help me.
Is there any way to recover corrupted images? I was at class trip and half of my pics are gone. I looked at dates and all pictures from day 2 are gone, day 1 is fine. On my phone i see gray ! instead of picture, on computer it tells that file isn't supported. i already tried some file recovery softwares and they won't do anything. These pictures are quite important to me and i would like to recover them.
!!! I crypted my SD in the end of day 1(stupid me) and uncrypted in morning. Can it affect my pictures somehow?

I've had that problem before too. I just deleted them, but I do know that there is software throughout the Internet that claim to repair corrupted images. I guess you could try one of those if the pictures are super important.

They're probably gone. I don't think there is any possible application that can fully restore them. Encrypting a drive properly, then un-encrypting it properly shouldn't have caused the issue. You might've forgot to eject the SD card from the computer before removing it. That can cause damage in certain instances.

Some part failed to save I think.The file is 2 mb like usual. Stellar repair said invalid file.

What kind of phone is it? And what SDCard?

My lg g5 randomly corrupts pictures sometimes.

What I did to resolve, I setup Google Photos automatic backup for my photos and videos! It's free, unlimited storage for photos and videos.
It works for me, so if in the future, pics get corrupt, I still have the original backup.

Ok. Going forward, I would stick to Sandisk Extreme or Extreme plus cards. That is what i use, because i shoot 60fps on my g5.
