There are many writers, authors, poets, and other literary masterminds throughout the world. And there are probably quite a few right here in the forums! Let's all improve our literary skills by writing a story. By combining all our ideas together, we can create something awesome.

Goal?
The goal of this topic is to have fun and create a fun story!

What Will We Be Doing?
I will start off with one starter prompt. And you, forum members, will create the story, adding in one sentence at a time. If at any point our story comes to a completion point, that's fine! I'll just start up a new prompt.

Rules
Please do not double-post. Don't post more than one sentence in one post or post more than one post directly after another. Another user must post before you can add another sentence. Please do not make the story inappropriate (that means nothing remotely bad.) And have fun!

Prompt 1: While searching for a runaway child, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist develops the ability to fly.

A topic already exists, but it got out of hand. We can do a new one.


He flew straight through the jet engine of a Boeing 747.

He decided he wasn't safe, so he began parachuting down to Earth.

But, then as he was at such a high altitude and his parachute wasn't made well, his parachute tore apart and blew away in the wind.

He dropped out of the sky, splashing into a large lake below him.

Then he saw a sign that said 'Watch out for the monster. Thank you, the Loch Ness community.'

He screamed and starting swimming as fast as he could to shore.

Just when he was a few meters away, some weird noise came from under the water...
