Warning: Spoiler! The reason VW got a beating is because they were cheating it and the vehicles produced over 40 times the allowed amount for emissions. When the largest automotive group in the world does something like this, it's going to be a big deal. FCA isn't small either. The whole coal rolling thing is very stupid and hillbilly. I don't agree with it at all. I think all states should follow California emissions laws, so that we can be a cleaner country all together. Not all car brands do this. You have to provide sources and evidence to back said claims up for it to be valid. Warning: Spoiler! In Europe, the emissions aren't anywhere near as strict as in the US. In the UK for example, 100grams per km of C02 is considered pretty good. In the U.S, that's horrible and way over the allowed amount. The U.S cares about emissions because if we don't cut down on them or just eliminate them, the environment will be absolutely ruined. |
