Welcome to the CCD forum! It has been very quiet over the past few years, but its good to see someone new who wants to participate.

You are welcome to answer people's questions already. This is not a task reserved for moderators. If you have the technical knowledge to solve issues, then go ahead and answer questions.

As you are very new to our forum, you can't expect to go straight into a moderator role. It took me 3 years since I registered with the forum before an opportunity to become a moderator arose. You need to develop some experience and showcase your knowledge before you can progress into a moderator role.

Our forum is very quiet now, so there isn't much to moderate anymore. We currently don't require more moderators. But our time will not last forever. If you are committed to being here for the long-term, an opportunity could arise where some of the existing moderators step down and need to be replaced.
