Maybe soon. But the banning is not only my decision, so we will have to speak to Kivlov.

I did not know I replied to that. I think I should read more carefully, and that really offends me because I have a Russian relative.

Hello everyone,

I think many of you do not welcome paid mods. So do we. But as all these modifications are third-party and are made by third-party users, we respect their independence and we do not feel free to touch them anyhow.

Let's just forget about the fact that mod was distributed for a fee. Let's just forget about the fact that 99% of mod makers don't have any copyrights on 3D models they use to make their mods. Because if we consider the problem from that side - almost all mods for all games in the whole world are illegal and should be deleted. So, I think we shouldn't care where the mod makers take the models from. It's just not important for us. Let's just leave it on their own conscience. If original 3D model author will come and provide us with proof that he owns that model and didn't provide any rights to use it for any mod maker - only in that case we will have to take any measures to protect his copyrights and interests. Until that time - let's just forget about 3D models copyrights problem. It's not the point.

So, let's just consider the problem from another simplier side:

Mod makers use some 3D models (as for now just doesn't matter where taken from), and adapt them to work with our simulator. So the main work made by mod makers is adapting the models to our game. I'm sure noone has doubt that the first one mod maker who adapted Audi A8 model was the DragoN777. So, the DragoN777 was the first who adapted the model, and it's up to him to decide to distribute it or not to distribute, and how to distrubute (for a fee, or for free). It's just not our business to meddle. I think it's quite fair.

What RusSiken31 has done? He has put his own sign as it was him who adapted Audio A8 3D model. But we all know that it's not true. Therefore I don't find such behavior suitable - to usurp the authorship of someone else's model adapting work. I'm sure it's obviously bad behavior.

Then, there were much more reasons for banning the RusSiken31 - he was rude and insulted other users of the forum. Enough evidience were already provided in this thread.

Therefore - appeal is rejected. Thank you.
