Hi,

I would like to have a star rating thing on a mod release. What happens is the mod is released and when we use it we can rate the nod 1,2,3,4 or 5 stars and an average rating will be displayed.

It would only be in the Released Mods section.

We could see poor ratings so we might not bother getting the mod.

I think this will cause fights and many arguments. Not the best of ideas in my opinion.

I think that not only will it hurt others, but it will demean modders hard work.

If it isn't high enough then nobody will download it. Is that our main issue?

Does that mean the modders want HD models which are paid to get higher ratings?
It ends up with paid mods and no mods are free ever again.

Scrap the idea?

I don't think this will be a good idea. It's going to discourage others and cause arguments among those who have opposing views, possibly between mod creator and mod user.

In addition, modders would constantly want to get high ratings so that people will download their mods, so they're gonna use paid models and make their mods paid, as mentioned in one of the previous posts.

I would scrap the idea.
